Boris Privacy Policy

Effective July 11, 2026 · Pleroma Labs LLC

Boris is built to be private. Your tasks, projects, calendar data, and computed plans live in a database on your own computer — not on our servers. We do not operate a cloud backend for your planning data, and we cannot see it.

What we collect

Account (optional): if you use Sign in with Apple, Boris stores the account identifier Apple issues, and — if you choose to share them — your name and email address. This record is stored in the Boris engine's database on your machine. Apple's identity token is verified and discarded; we never receive your Apple password.

Nothing else. Boris has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party data sharing. Voice capture is transcribed on-device by Apple's speech frameworks and never uploaded by Boris.

Optional AI capture

If you enable LLM-assisted task grooming with your own API key, the text you dictate or type into the capture box is sent to the provider you configured, solely to convert it into tasks. On-device grooming (Apple Intelligence) sends nothing anywhere.

Calendar access

Boris reads your calendars' busy time locally, on your Mac, so plans schedule around real events. Calendar contents are never transmitted.

Deleting your data

Delete your account any time in the app (More → Account → Delete Account). Your local databases are files on your machine — deleting the app's data folder removes everything. To revoke the Sign in with Apple grant: iPhone Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple.
